Not necessarily for being the best.
Not for coming in first.
Not because somebody handed out a score.
Just because sometimes people deserve to be celebrated.

Pottery Studio (formerly Mkat’s Antiques)
Join us for Wednesday Nights @ Soaring Arts on Wednesday, October 14 as we partner with Eli Zemper of Curiouser Clay to make BEAUTIFUL Raku pumpkins! All materials and tools are included and no experience is necessary as Eli and several Soaring Artists will lead you through all the steps necessary to glaze your own pumpkin. Completed pumpkins will be immediately loaded into the outdoor gas kiln, brought up to 1800 degrees and then taken out of the kiln while hot and put into a bucket of combustible materials. 30 minutes later, the pumpkins will be removed and will be ready to take home! Come enjoy this special opportunity to be a part of this AMAZING firing process.
There will also be a drum circle and some additional creative rest activities available inside the Pottery Studio that night as well!
All ages and abilities are welcome. We do ask that children under 8 are accompanied by an adult.
Each class is limited to 10 people and ore-registration is required.
The class will be held at our Pottery Studio (formerly Mkat’s Antiques)
This class will run from 4:30-6:30!

Join us as we partner with the Lumberyard Winery for this fun ceramic foldable pumpkin class on Wednesday, October 28th from 5:30-7PM!
You can now simultaneously make memories and get creative, while enjoying a glass of wine and a delicious plank, all in one relaxing space!
Are you new to pottery?
No problem!
Our Artists will teach you how to both sculpt and glaze this project from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never worked with clay before, the instructors will help you lean into your creativity!
After the class, the pumpkins will be taken back to Soaring Arts to dry. Then they’ll be fired for you. At that point, we’ll give you a call to let you know they’re ready for pick-up at the Winery, in plenty of time to put out for Thanksgiving!
All ages and abilities are welcome.
The class fee is $25!
This includes all the supplies needed, as well as the valuable instruction of our Artists!
*THE LUMBERYARD’S AMAZING FOOD AND DRINK MENU WILL BE AVAILABLE THIS NIGHT AS WELL AT AN ADDITIONAL COST!
