Join Soaring Arts Studios at the Lumberyard Winery on Tuesday, January 20th for a great night out! You’ll learn the basics of making polymer cane designs. These will then be used to create two unique wine glasses. (You can choose between a traditional or stemless glass.)
Artists from the Studio will teach you how to complete these cups from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never sculpted before, they will help you lean into your creativity and create two fun masterpieces!
The cups will need to be baked in an oven after the class. Participants can choose to take their cups home the night of the class with instructions for baking or Soaring Arts can do this and return the pieces to the winery for pick-up that Thursday.
All abilities are welcome.
Ages 10+ are welcome with an adult.
The class fee is $35
All of the Lumberyards wonderful menu items and drinks will be available this night as well. They will be charged separately from the class registration.

Join us at Soaring Arts on Tuesday, February 3 at our Pottery Studio to create a Clay Snowman Lantern!
One of our Studio Artists will work with Diana to teach you how to complete this project from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never worked with clay before, the instructors will help you lean into your creativity!
After this initial class, the pieces will need to dry out and be fired. Once the pieces are fired, you’ll get to return to glaze your sculptures towards the end of February, at your convenience! They will then be fired for the second time (that same week) and will be ready for pick up!
This class will be held at Soaring Arts Pottery Studio, “Studio Express!” This is located in between Country Gourmet and Pocket Park or Edward Jones!

The Lumberyard Winery
Join Soaring Arts Studios at the Lumberyard Winery on Tuesday, February 10 for a fun “Paint Your Partner” night out!
Artists from Soaring Arts will teach you the basics of how to draw a face and its’ features, including proportions, shape and etc. Then, you will be set free to create and paint a portrait of your date, who will be sitting across from you!
(It could be a parent/child, husband/wife or a stranger who will agree to come with you.)
Then, at the end of the night, we will do the big reveal of your masterpiece to your muse!
Note: This class is meant to be a fun night out! Your portrait may or may not resemble your date, but you will have had a fun night together, enjoyed some wine or maybe even dinner and had lots of laughs along the way!
All abilities are welcome.

The class fee is $50 per couple.
This includes all the supplies needed to complete two-11”x14” paintings on a stretched canvas, as well as the valuable instruction of our Artists!

Join Soaring Arts on Tuesday, February 17 at the Filling Home Community Center for a night of creative relaxation, as we dive into the process of kinetic art!
Soaring Artist, Aric Gurzynski will demonstrate the medium of kinetic art, and give some inspiration and tips. Then, you will be able to lean into the rhythm of the music and create at your own pace and style!
Our musicians for the night are Ginny George and Eli Doehrmann, who will set the mood for you to create your own pieces of art.
It doesn’t matter if you are an old pro or have never done anything like this before, the Artists will help you lean into your creativity and have an enjoyable time!
This activity will be set up on the floor (as pictured above), as well as on tables and walls to accommodate everyone’s specific needs and preferences.
We do ask that you wear comfortable clothes, so you can have the best and most freeing experience.
Please take note: The class is not being held at Soaring Arts Studios. We have moved the event to the Filling Home Community Center, which will enable us to have more space to spread out and create. However,
our work space there will be in front of a wall of murals that were created by our Artists. So although it’s a new space, it still gives out those same creative vibes!

Filling Home Community Center
Join Soaring Arts on Thursday, February 26 at the Filling Home Community Center for a night of Praise, Worship and Painting!
This is not necessarily a class, but a space for worship, prayer, connection, and creativity!
What does this look like?
-Praise and Worship leader, Devan Rivera will be playing live this night.
-At the beginning of the night, one of our Soaring Artists will demonstrate a few simple abstract techniques that you could use to use to paint if you wish (some of which are pictured above.) Or you can also paint intuitively as the Spirt leads you.
-There will be different spaces set up throughout the building with easels and tables for you to get comfortable and
worship, as well as lean into your creativity.
-You can paint, dance, draw or write as you wish/feel led with no expectations.
It doesn’t matter if you are an old pro or have never done anything like this before, we aim to set up a space that will help you lean into your creativity and have an enjoyable time!
Please take note: The class is not being held at Soaring Arts Studios.
