Join Soaring Arts on Thursday, February 26 at the Filling Home Community Center for a night of Praise, Worship and Painting!
This is not necessarily a class, but a space for worship, prayer, connection, and creativity!
What does this look like?
-Praise and Worship leader, Devan Rivera will be playing live this night.
-At the beginning of the night, one of our Soaring Artists will demonstrate a few simple abstract techniques that you could use to use to paint if you wish (some of which are pictured above.) Or you can also paint intuitively as the Spirt leads you.
-There will be different spaces set up throughout the building with easels and tables for you to get comfortable and
worship, as well as lean into your creativity.
-You can paint, dance, draw or write as you wish/feel led with no expectations.
It doesn’t matter if you are an old pro or have never done anything like this before, we aim to set up a space that will help you lean into your creativity and have an enjoyable time!
Please take note: The class is not being held at Soaring Arts Studios. We have moved the event to the Filling Home Community Center, which will enable us to have more space to spread out, get alone with God and create. However, our work space there will be in front of a wall of murals that were created by our Artists. So, although it’s a new space, it still gives out those same creative vibes!
All ages and abilities are welcome. We do ask that kids under 8 are accompanied by an adult.
The class fee is $15.
This includes all the supplies needed to write, draw and create a 16”x20” canvas to take home, as well as a time of worship!

Monday, March 2 from 5:30-7:00 PM
Cost: $25.00
Join us at Soaring Arts on Monday, March 2 at our Pottery Studio to create a Clay Cross Wall-Hanging!
One of our Studio Artists will work with staff to teach you how to complete this project from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never worked with clay before, the instructors will help you lean into your creativity!
After this initial class, the pieces will need to dry out and be fired. Once the pieces are fired, you’ll get to return to glaze your sculptures towards the end of March, at your convenience! They will then be fired for the second time (that same week) and will be ready for pick up!
This class will be held at Soaring Arts Pottery Studio, “Studio Express!” This is located in between Country Gourmet and Pocket Park or Edward Jones!

Holgate Community Library
Join us on Tuesday, March 10 at the Holgate Community Library for the Opening Reception of our “Out of the Box 25” Exhibit!
In 2025, Soaring Arts Studios broke the box that was formerly titled, “this is the way it’s supposed to be!” We went back to the basics of a creativity without rules, and as a result, the Artists created some of the most amazing art! This exhibit is full of everything crazy, unusual, unexpected, and fun! It highlights individual and collaborative works from all of the Studio Artists!
The exhibit will open March 10 with a reception from 5:30-7:00. During this time, you can meet some of the Artists, check out their work, and enjoy light refreshments! Derrick Maassel aka “The Twisted Jokester” will also be on-site, telling jokes and creating balloons!
The community is also welcome this evening to come and get creative with us! During the Opening, you can create your own fun eyeglasses, while our supplies last!
We are all Artists, and we not only want you to come and see art, but to be a part of it! We want you to jump out of your box with us for a moment, and then leave with a souvenir that reminds you to be creative and have fun in life!
We hope you’ll make plans to join us for this out of the box night!
(If you can’t make it that day, the exhibit will then remain on display at the Library throughout April!

Join us for this painting class at Soaring Arts Studios!
Examples have been made and the class will be led by Studio Artist, Skylar Laver! They will teach you how to create this fun process painting from start to finish! It’s abstract and created with diluted paints and inks.
*Class Fee: $35. This includes all supplies needed for this class and a larger 18”x24”stretched canvas.
After the class, the painting will need to dry, so the paintings will be available for pick-up the following week.

You are invited to come the Opening of “The Abstract Art of Color, Emotion and Movement,” which is a new Soaring Arts Exhibit, being held at the Liberty Center Public Library! It will feature abstract art, created throughout our “Going Deeper Series!” See Squegee art by Christina, Kinetic Art by Aric and Jess, pendulum art and more!
The Opening Reception will be held on Monday, March 23 from 5:30-7:00. During this time, you can meet several of the Artists, participate in some abstract exercises of your own, enjoy light refreshments, browse the gallery or even purchase artwork!
After the Opening, the exhibit will remain on display through April 6th, during the library’s regular hours.
You won’t want to miss this one! We’d love for you to make plans to join us!

Join Soaring Arts Studios at the Liberty Center Library on Thursday, March 26 for an evening of art and fun! We will be using process art techniques to create your very own pendulum paintings to take home!
Artists from the Studio will teach you how to complete this painting from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never painted before, they will help you lean into your creativity and create a masterpiece!
All abilities are welcome.
Ages 8+ are welcome with an adult.
The class fee is $20!
This includes all the supplies needed to complete this 16”x20” painting on a stretched canvas, as well as the valuable instruction of our Artists!
Due to the style of the painting, it will need to be left at the library to dry before it can be taken home. Once dry, Soaring Arts will apply a clear coat and it will be ready for pick up at the Library the following week!

Lumberyard Winery
Join Soaring Arts Studios at the Lumberyard Winery on Tuesday, March 31 for a great night out! You’ll learn the basics of using alcohol inks to paint by creating these beautiful abstract flowers!
Artists from the Studio will teach you how to complete this painting from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never used this medium before, they will help you lean into your creativity and create a masterpiece you’ll be proud of!
All abilities are welcome.
Ages 10+ are welcome with an adult.
The class fee is $25.
It includes all supplies needed to create this painting on an 11”x14” canvas, as well as the valuable instruction of our Artists!
All of the Lumberyards wonderful menu items and drinks will be available this night as well. They will be charged separately from the class registration.
