Join us at Soaring Arts on Monday, August 3 at our Pottery Studio to create this fun slab bowl!
Studio Artist, Jen Nofziger will work with staff to teach you how to complete this project from start to finish! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or have never worked with clay before, the instructors will help you lean into your creativity!
After this initial class, we will let the pieces dry, and we will bisque-fire them. You can then return any Monday, beginning August 24 to glaze your pieces.
They will then be fired for the second time and they’ll be ready for pick up.
This class will be held at Soaring Arts Pottery Studio, “Studio Express!” This is located in between Country Gourmet and Pocket Park or Edward Jones!

All ages and abilities are welcome. We do ask that kids under 8 are accompanied by an adult.
The class fee is $30.
This includes all the supplies needed to complete this bowl, as well as the valuable instruction of our Artists!

“A Toast to Creativity” an Art Exhibit Opening Reception @ the Lumberyard Winery for Jessica Clapp
Please join us at the Lumberyard Winery on Thursday, August 6 from 6:00-7:30, as Artist, Jessica Clapp will have an exhibit on display titled, “A Toast to Creativity!”
The exhibit will open this night, and Jess will be on-site for a meet and greet as well! The work will be available to view and even purchase this night! You can also enjoy the great Lumberyard flatbreads, wines and ciders! We hope you’ll make plans to join us as we celebrate Jessica!

This one’s for the younger kids. Kids ages 4-7 are welcome to join us Friday, August 7 for this fun art class! Kids will get to create stained-glass-style butterfly wings and an abstract marble painting!
Examples have been made and the classes will be led by several of our Studio Artists! They will teach you how to create these projects from start to finish!

Kids 7-13 years of age are invited to join us for this fun kids art class! We will be designing, sculpting and baking our own keychains out of polymer clay!
Emma Ashby has prepared the examples and will be the main instructor for the day, helping you learn the techniques needed to create two-three awesome keychains!

Join us on Tuesday, August 25 from 5:30-7:00 at Top Dog/Mya’s Sweet Treats for another “Paint & Scoop” Class!
What is it?
We’ve all heard of “Paint and Sips?”
Well, when you add ice cream and painting to that mix, you get “Paint and Scoop!”
Yes, that’s right! Soaring Arts is again partnering with our friends at the Ice Cream Shop for a fun new activity…Faux Stained Glass Ice Cream Art!
What does the registration include?
-You’ll get to pick a delicious ice cream treat from Mya’s Sweet Treats…and…
-You get to take a fun art class, led by Artists from Soaring Arts! In this class, you will design and paint your own ice cream piece that will look like stained glass! It will be framed in an 8”x10” frame and ready for you to take home this night!
All ages and abilities are welcome! We do ask that you pre-register/pre-pay so we know how to plan!
