Several Studio Artists have recently completed an 12-week “Pottery 101” Course! During this time, they’ve learned the basics of building pinch pots, slab-builds, coil-building and have worked on the potter’s wheel. Once their pots were fired, they also learned several techniques to glaze their pieces as well.
Everyone did a phenomenal job, so we will be having a small ceremony and open house in their honor on Wednesday, January 28th from 1:30-2:30. During this time, there will be light refreshments, and the Artists will receive a certificate of completion. They will also showcase all of the pieces that were created during the duration of the course! The pieces will also officially go for sale this day as well!

Join Soaring Arts Studios at the Lumberyard Winery on Tuesday, February 10 for a fun “Paint Your Partner” night out!
Artists from Soaring Arts will teach you the basics of how to draw a face and its’ features, including proportions, shape and etc. Then, you will be set free to create and paint a portrait of your date, who will be sitting across from you!
(It could be a parent/child, husband/wife or a stranger who will agree to come with you.)
Then, at the end of the night, we will do the big reveal of your masterpiece to your muse!
Note: This class is meant to be a fun night out! Your portrait may or may not resemble your date, but you will have had a fun night together, enjoyed some wine or maybe even dinner and had lots of laughs along the way!
All abilities are welcome.
Ages 10+ are welcome with an adult.
The class fee is $50 per couple.
This includes all the supplies needed to complete two-11”x14” paintings on a stretched canvas, as well as the valuable instruction of our Artists!
All of the Lumberyards menu items and drinks will be available this night as well. They will be charged separately from the registration.
We do ask that you pre-register/pre-pay for the class. You can follow the link on this event under “get tickets” to register.
