I’m Ricky Adams. I am an Artist at Soaring Arts. Art makes me feel good. I like to make stuff and draw and paint and sew all kinds of stuff.
When I’m not at work, I like to go out to eat and listen to Beatles and color, and I draw a lot.
So, I like to make stuff, and I’m a nice guy!
Brandon Bischoff
Hi! I’m Brandon Bischoff. I am an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio. I’m kinda of known around here as the “Flag Artist and History Buff.” I enjoy painting American Flags on all different types of canvases from garden flags to bags to framed paintings!
When I’m not at work, I like all types of video games and also enjoy stories.
Steve Burkholder
I’m Steve. Art makes me happy, and I like making art at Soaring Arts! I like doing all kinds of art, but I like painting and drawing Ohio State stuff the best!
When I’m not working hard, I like to golf, help my sister-in-law out, and watch Star Trek!
So, I like to make stuff, and I’m a nice guy!
Jessica Clapp
My name is Jessica Clapp. I am a Soaring Art Studio Artist who enjoys any kind of art. I like art because it really relaxes me and helps me to get my creativity out.
In addition to Art, I also teach art classes to the Community. I also work in housekeeping and foodservice. In my spare time, I love to dance, listen to music, play sports, cheerlead, watch movies, musicals, and hang out with my friends and boyfriend, Bishop.
My name is Marissa, Marissa Cortez, and I like to do art, because it makes me happy. I’m an Artist at Soaring Arts where I like to draw my hearts. I also like making garden flags, working with clay, making dog treats and painting.
When I’m not at work, I like to look up One Direction pictures, listen to One Direction, watch WWE, play with my cat Spooky, spend time with my Mom, get my nails done, and I like being a cheerleader with my team!
Amanda Etter is an amazing, self-taught digital artist! At this point in her life, she creates most of her art on her computer. She has a YouTube Channel where she does live speed paintings under her Artist name, "NeoQueen Beryl." She is very interested in anime and the culture that goes along with it.
Amanda works as an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio, as an employee at Anytime Fitness, and in janitorial at ODOT.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys creating costumes and going to Comic Con Conventions and spending time with her cats.
I’m Drew Hoagland. There are so many cool things about me, including the fact that I am an Artist. I work at Soaring Arts Studio and at COREE.
My favorite type of art is painting, and that is also, personally, my favorite thing to do at the Studio! I love to paint. When I’m not at work, I also love to play video games!
I’m Rebekah Hoagland, and I’m an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio. When I’m at the Studio, I like to draw. I also love to paint. I enjoy painting records the most and doing acrylic pours.
When I’m not at the Studio, I also work at COREE.
When I’m at home, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, and watching movies.
I’m Brianna Lillie. I’m employed as an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio, where I sell my art. I also lead Art Parties and teach painting classes to the community.
I like to do acrylic pours of all kinds. I also enjoy drawing and coloring at Studio, and I like to help people.
Outside of art, I enjoy shopping, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, listening to music, and going out for Chinese!
I’m Vanessa Lanzer. I have been an Artist at Soaring Arts for a long time! My favorite artistic things to do are ripping paper, painting and making dog treats!
When I’m not working, I like to rip paper, be with my family, and go out to dinner!
I’m Derrick Maassel, and I am an Artist at Soaring Arts. I am 25 years old. I find that art helps me to be calm, and it inspires me to be creative.
I like to do a lot of different art projects. I specifically enjoy doing wood projects, painting, sanding and doing acrylic pours. I enjoy making art that I can share with customers. I like to talk to customers about art and then see if we have things in common that we could build a friendship on.
I also work at McDonalds and volunteer at Genacross. When I’m not at work, I like to play video games.
Hi! My name is Brittany Mason! I am an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio. I find that art helps me to feel calm. While I am at the Studio, I enjoy trying different types of art. My favorites are currently cross-stitching and painting.
When I’m not creating, I enjoy reading, baking, playing video games and watching classic Godzilla movies!
Bethany Mathers
Hi! My name is Bethany Mathers! I am 35 years old, and I am an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio!
I enjoy trying all different types of art. Some of my favorite things to do at the Studio are acrylic pours, watercolor painting, drawing, and creating banners for the community!
When I’m not doing art, I like to go horseback riding, read chapter books, listen to CD’s, play on my computer, and go bowling! I also spend a lot of my time at Chiefs, where I have worked for the last 15 years!

Hi. My name is Tara Murphy. I am 32 years old. I have a few different jobs. I work at the Filling Home Community Center, where I scan documents. I am a clerical worker in the office at Filling Home, and I am an Artist at Soaring Arts.
While at Soaring Arts, I wear a few different hats. I manage the website and inventory, answer phones and am in charge of contacting customers regarding their orders. On top of all that, I also work on my own art.
I love art, because I find that I can be as creative as I want to be without being judged. I enjoy doing word art, polymer clay sculptures and sewing.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with my fiancé, Matt and our cat, Leo. I also enjoy playing video games.

Jen Nofziger
My name is Jen Nofziger. I am an Artist from Soaring Arts Studio, and I have Autism. I have been working at the Studio for a little over two years. In that time, I have been able to explore my creative abilities through many different techniques like Mandalas, Optical Illusions, Acrylic Pours, Facepainting, and Geometric Painting...to list a few.
I love doing Art, helping out with big projects, and teaching community classes. One of my favorite things to do during my art projects is to use a torch to create a ripple or cell effect in paintings.
I also volunteer at Together We Can Make a Difference, where I stock shelves. In my spare time, I love to listen to music, write stories, play the drums/congos, and spend time with my friends and family, especially with my nephew and nieces. I also participate in a Fantasy Football League my brother started. My favorite football team is Seattle Seahawks. I also like spending time with my dog, Bella.
Mary Ellen Ochoa
I’m Mary Ellen Ochoa. I’m an Artist, and I also work at COREE. When I’m at the studio, I like to make things, paint, draw, and make dog treats. I don’t have a favorite kind of art right now. I just like to do all kinds of art, because I find that it’s fun.
When I’m not creating, I like to play video games, participate in Special Olympics, go bowling, and I’m a cheerleader. I am also the friendliest person you will ever meet.
Heather Stoner
My name is Heather Marie Stoner. I am 39 years old, and I am an Artist and teacher at the Soaring Arts Studio. I love art, because it make me feel good about myself. I enjoy drawing, painting and sewing, but my favorite thing to create is ocean scenes!
When I’m not at the Studio, I still do art at home. I also enjoy sewing, shopping, and doing word finds!
Hi. My name is Tinie Rader. I am an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio. I like working at the Studio, because I like being around my friends, and art makes me feel good.
While at the Studio, I like to explore different types of art and challenge myself to create new things. I enjoy drawing. Currently I am really interested in drawing horses, hearts and crosses, but I also enjoy painting, doing acrylic pours, mixed media art, and creating memorial pieces.
When I’m not at work, I like spending time with family, going to the Casino, listening to music, playing video games, and watching YouTube. When you view my art, I think that you will see a lot of different kinds of the things that I like.
